From what I have seen on my sites, Google decided to do another page rank update today or somewhere during last night. Compared to the last page rank updates, when Google didn’t seem to do a good and accurate job, I observed that this time the updates are likely to be more stable and fair. I say this because, a few months ago, for a couple of days  Google updated bitdoze.com from PR 1 to PR 3 and then back to PR1.
Now, Google seems to developed a more stable algorithm and be more accurate. My site has now PR 2 ( not that I care too much) while in the past it was PR1 on the root page and PR2 and even PR3 on some sub pages. For some PR is still important but for me doesn’t seem to be as important as it was in the old days.
When I started blogging I was really fascinated by Google Page Rank and also, I  wanted to have at least PR 1 for my blog. With time I have concluded that PR has no importance in rankings or in visitors and it will only interfere with your goals. You don’t have to give too much attention to Google PR because you will not have  many benefits from it.
The young bloggers and the ones that don’t know too much SEO ( in which position I was at the beginning) tend to give too much importance to Google Page Rank. Below I will put some of the things that a new blogger should focus on more.
If you had asked me  about this matter a year ago, I would have answered  that nothing is more important then Google PR, this is something that frequently happens to a new blogger or to those without experience or guidance. By now, I have gathered more knowledge and experience, I have tried and seen many things, because it is in my nature to try all the possibilities in my quest for improvement . Below are the things that I consider more important and you can contradict me if you wish:
 Great Content -  Many are saying “content is the king” and they are not mistaking, content is really what is making the difference these days. After the last Google updates, it is impossible that you succeed without great content.Build Links – link building to your site and to the articles that are important for you is crucial for gaining more success.Build Relations – Building relationships with other bloggers is not my strong point, but it must be for you if you want to be successful. With any means you must build relationships and be there for other bloggers if you want to have success.Social Media – this can be good in getting a lot of traffic to your site. I have never done this of a good manner but, for sure, if you try you can do a great job. This can bring you a lot of visitors ( as I saw on other blogs that use this).
Google Page Rank is not that really important for me and for sure it will not help me obtain the things that I need. Other things like the one from above are more important, you can let me know what is important for you, below, with a comment.
